Kingwood

Kingwood belongs to the Bignoniaceae family. It is a large tree growing in tropical regions of South America, suitable for growth in hot, rainy, and sunny climates. Tree height can reach about 30 meters, with a diameter at breast height (DBH) of about 0.6-1.2m. The wood is hard, heavy, and one of the densest hardwoods, with very high shrinkage, high strength, and corrosion resistance. The color contrast between its heartwood and sapwood is distinct: sapwood is pale yellowish-white, while heartwood is olive brown. After sanding and processing, the beauty of its interlocked natural grain is further revealed, possessing an artistic atmosphere and unique charm.
