I saw a video about how haircare in China is important because it symbolizes respect to their parents and the act of self care. Hairbrushes are given as romantic and symbolic gifts. While on a walk with my girlfriend one day I took a photo of her standing in front of a wall of purple and white Jasmine flowers. While studying Chinese, we learned the Jasmine Flower song, which I attempted to sing for her. She sent me a video of her singing the song for me and I will cherish it forever. So naturally, when I saw the Nameless Flower brush, I saw it as a sign. When she opened the gift her eyes grew big and she gasped in surprise! She shed a few tears and was so joyful that I learned an important part of her culture. This was the perfect gift!!
