Verawood

Verawood, also known as Jade Sandalwood, belongs to the Zygophyllaceae family. It is an evergreen tree widely distributed in Central America, South America, the West Indies, etc. Its material is heavy, hard, high density, with a fine and uniform structure. Sapwood color is close to light yellow, while heartwood is yellowish-brown to deep yellowish-brown when freshly cut, and possesses beautiful feather-like grain. Over time, it slowly turns green; the longer it is kept, the greener the color becomes, eventually even exhibiting a jade-like hue. More uniquely, Verawood has a characteristic faint fragrance that is refreshing and delightful.
